Step 1: Set up your accounts
- Set up a new gmail account dedicated to your content with Coconote
- for example,
[email protected]
- make this a gmail account for simplicity. make sure it has your name and coconote.
- Create new accounts on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts using your new email from step (1)
- Create a username with a student focus
- General examples:
@jacksonstudies, @adhdjackson, @jacksondoescollege
- Make content for people like you! Authentic content is always best. So make your username specific to you.
- Have ADHD and studying Nursing?
@thenursewithadhd
- Finance major and a male?
@futurefinanceguy
- Get creative with your name but make it relevant to who you are. Authenticity wins.
- Add your bio and profile pic.
- Your profile pic should be you! Do not use a Coconote logo. People want to interact with you, not a coconut.
- Warm up your account for 3 days.
- Spend at least 20 minutes per day scrolling on each platform
- Scroll as you normally would, engaging with and following content you like. Make sure you like the content; it’ll be easier to spent time on the account.
- Leave comments and share study videos (even if only to yourself) to let the IG and TikTok algorithm know what kind of content you like engaging with
Step 2: Use the Coconote app (iPhone, iPad, web)
- Create a Coconote account using the @gmail.com account in Step 1 above.
- You can sign up on iPhone, iPad, or on the web.
- Your content will focus iPhone, iPad, and web (laptop) so make sure you have at least one of these ready to record!
- Start recording using the app to demo the product!
